There are certainly various methods to get to my office from Taksim Square which is the city center.

1) Choose a “dolmuş” for the simplest transportation (approximately 30 minutes)
a- Take a “dolmuş”(*) to Bostancı right next to AKM (Ataturk Culture Center) from Taksim Square (tell them that you want to go from “sahilden”)
b- Tell the driver, you want to get off at “Feneryolu Işıklar” – Feneryolu traffic lights.
c- You will see KAHVE DÜNYASI right at the corner and SÜTİŞ on the other side of the street. Cross at the traffic lights to walk by SÜTİŞ.
d- After roughly 150 meters, turn right into “Alageyik sokak” and take the first turn on the left. You’ll see my sign that reads my name “Tarkan Fenercioğlu” and my phone numbers. Then ring the bell!

2) Enjoy Istanbul views by ferry (approximately 45 minutes)
a- Take a ferry from Karaköy to Kadıköy. You may either choose to get off at Haydarpaşa to take a train or at Kadıköy to take a “dolmuş”. Jump to “f”, if you choose to get off at Kadıköy.
b- If you choose to travel by train, get off at Haydarpaşa (before Kadıköy) and take a train to Gebze (banlieue). You’ll have to get off at Feneryolu train station which is the third station. It takes about 7 minutes.
c- Take a 3 minute walk down to Bagdat Street, one of the major streets in İstanbul. You’ll see the “Dünya Göz Hastanesi” – Dünya Eye Hospital at the traffic lights.
d- Cross the street and turn left. Turn right where you see “ING Bank” and “AVIS”.
e- Ring the bell where you see my sign…

OR
f- Get off the ferry at Kadıköy and take a “dolmuş” to Bostancı.
g- Tell the driver, you want to get off at “Feneryolu Işıklar” – Feneryolu traffic lights.

(*) Dolmuş /doalmush/ is a yellow vehicle (bigger than normal taxis) that only starts when it is filled up with passengers, falls between private transport and conventional bus transport, with a fixed route, but the convenience of stopping anywhere to pick up or drop off passengers.
